I can vividly recall personal encounters which went badly decades after they occurred. They still bring "OMG" moments back to mind together with lashings of shame and regret. I cannot "believe" how ignorant I've been for so long. Why wasn't I enlightened decades ago when things could have been made better for me? I've lived a pathetic life and never understood why until now. But I have to ask whether it would have made a difference. Maybe not - I suppose things are what they are.MWnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4841851020927689161.post-83831098417507411052011-11-06T11:16:19.093+11:002011-11-06T11:16:19.093+11:00Fascinating - I like the bit about recording conve...Fascinating - I like the bit about recording conversations for later use and analysis. I frequently go over and over things in a rather obsessive manner - often finding out rather late that someone was being unpleasant. Even so after 47 years of having conversations, I can read a situation quite well on a good day. On a very Aspie day, I can't really understand anything. Me wings it...lolvirgoansunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15350680366455100296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4841851020927689161.post-3481535326531174342008-10-19T16:07:00.000+11:002008-10-19T16:07:00.000+11:00i definitely do this... it's something i need to w...i definitely do this... it's something i need to work on, i need to learn to see things just as they are.pinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021125367864652400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4841851020927689161.post-76651007146555458422008-10-19T16:06:00.000+11:002008-10-19T16:06:00.000+11:00i definitely do this... over-exaggerate things in ...i definitely do this... over-exaggerate things in my mind. i really need to learn to just see things as they are, maybe exaggerate body language and emotions but not intentions. a lot of fabrication goes on in my head when things are really quite simple<BR/>i also agree about writing, i love writing things down, it's so interesting.pinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021125367864652400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4841851020927689161.post-69407254317762674902008-10-19T07:15:00.000+11:002008-10-19T07:15:00.000+11:00I didn't realize it wasn't usual for people to do ...I didn't realize it wasn't usual for people to do this. This is one reason I love to write stories about simple experiences. My experiences are enhanced as I'm transcribing them.wrongshoeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09790543253481747149noreply@blogger.com
